Morgan Wallen trolls Alabama fans during show at Bryant-Denny Stadium

Country music star Morgan Wallen played a concert in hostile territory over the weekend, but managed to have the last laugh and remind the thousands of fans in attendance where his allegiances lie.

Wallen, an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan, took the stage at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night. In a smart move that immediately set the tone, he debuted alongside Alabama kingpin Nick Saban.

While it might have hurt Tennessee fans, and perhaps Wallen himself, to show some love to the Crimson Tide faithful, he was sure to remind them of his love for the Vols with a not-so-subtle move.

The wristbands given to fans upon arrival glowed Tennessee orange as Wallen and his band played the song “TN.” The country star turning Bryant-Denny Stadium into a giant orange light bulb is some of the best trolling work you’ll ever see.

Before Saturday night’s performance, there was concern among Tennessee fans that Wallen would wear the Alabama football jersey the team made for him.

The Crimson Tide shared a photo of Wallen in the football locker room, featuring his own makeshift locker and his red No. 7 jersey, but the man who is a big fan of orange and white did not wear any Alabama gear during the concert.

Wallen is originally from Sneedville, Tenn., a small town northeast of Knoxville near the Kentucky border, and has been rooting for the Vols as an East Tennessee native since he was a kid.

Playing a massive show at Bryant-Denny Stadium, making an obscene amount of money while doing it, and having the pleasure of trolling thousands of Alabama fans with bright orange wristbands was bound to make for a memorable Saturday evening for Wallen.
