Donald Trump will host Volodymyr Zelensky and Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House today as war tensions rise around the world. Later, the Israeli Prime Minister and the Ukrainian President will attend the funeral of Lindsey Graham, the former Republican senator from South Carolina, who died unexpectedly on July 11 at the age of 71.

Graham was a close ally of both leaders. The meeting between Trump and Netanyahu will be the first since February, when they presented a united front ahead of attacks on Iran that began on February 28. In Monday’s X post, Netanyahu wrote that he aimed to discuss Israel’s security and power with Trump in today’s meeting. “Our goal is clear: to protect Israel’s security, strengthen its power, and expand the circle of peace around us,” he said in his post. He also wrote that he would pay his respects to Graham, whom he described as a “true friend” during his visit.
