Anganwadi workers to participate in dharna at Jantar Mantar on April 21

Members of Andhra Pradesh Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Association (affiliated with AITUC) will participate in a national-level dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on April 21 demanding that the government redress their demands. Association State general secretary J. Lalitha said on Sunday: “Anganwadi workers are demanding regularization of services, implementation of bonuses, payment of minimum wages, provision of pension, scrapping of Facial Recognition System (FRS), among other demands.”
