Tea café chain Chaayos in talks to raise $50-70 million, appoints banker

Chaayos competes primarily with organized tea cafe chains. Chai Point Its closest and biggest rival is Chai Sutta Bar, followed by premium tea brands like MBA Chaiwala, Chai Kings, Chai Thela and Vahdam Teas, according to online reports. It also faces indirect competition from coffee chains Starbucks, Blue Tokai and Third Wave Coffee.
