Teenage boy pleads guilty to arson after attack on London synagogue

A 17-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to arson following an attack on a synagogue in north-west London on Saturday night.
The teenager, a British citizen from Brent in north-west London, who cannot be named because of his age, admitted the arson did not endanger life at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Footage appeared online late on Saturday showing a darkly-clothed figure lighting up a bottle of liquid and throwing it through the window at Kenton United Synagogue in Harrow.
Jewish charity Community Security Trust said there was minor smoke damage to one of the interior rooms but there were no injuries or serious structural damage.
The Metropolitan Police said a 19-year-old man arrested following the attack was released on bail pending further investigation.
This is breaking news, more to come…
