CM Yogi Adityanath leads march against Opposition; Akhilesh Yadav predicts U.P. poll defeat

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday took out a protest march against the “anti-women and undemocratic” move by the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP) to vote against the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, 2026.

The bill sought to redistribute Lok Sabha seats based on the 2011 Census to speed up the implementation of reservation for women.
