Leicester incident RECAP: Busy city centre street closed in emergency | UK | News

A major street in Leicester’s city center was closed this morning due to an “incident” and emergency services rushed to the scene. Belvoir Street was closed and Leicestershire Police advised people to seek alternative routes.

Pictures show police cordon outside Harvey’s nightclub; A first aid kit and other items can be seen in the taped area. It is not yet known why the cordon was placed. The road is closed on Belvoir Street from the Stamford Street intersection to the Bowling Green Street intersection. Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes while the ban continues.
