Three dead, one injured as car hits signboard near Veeravalli toll plaza in East Godavari

In the early hours of Wednesday, April 22, 2026, three people were killed and one more injured after their car crashed into a roadside signboard at Ananthapalli near Veeravalli toll plaza in Nallajerla mandal of East Godavari district.

The deceased have been identified as Chaparla Hanumantha Rao, Chaparla Raju and D. Sagar of Gajjaram village in Tallapudi mandal of East Godavari district. The fourth person, Gannina Narendra, was seriously injured and was receiving treatment at a nearby hospital, police told ANI.
