Far-left commentator Hasan Piker explained to The New York Times on Wednesday how he is “pro-theft” and “pro-piracy” when it comes to corporations.

“I’m pro-stealing from big corporations because they steal so much more from their own employees,” Piker said. “Opinions” podcast. “But one thing that might help your ethical dilemma is that these companies know that the automated process they designed is going to get smaller and smaller, right?”

He continued, “So it’s actually accounted for. The lemons that you steal, no matter what, are accounted for in the profit margin of these mega corporations. He explained: “It was a classic thing at the time. State-funded anti-piracy initiatives would be: Would you steal a car? I’m sure yes. If I could get away with it, if it was as easy as pirating intellectual property, I would do it.”

He added that he personally would not participate in “micro-looting” and would not support theft from taxpayer-funded places such as libraries or a government-run grocery store. He also acknowledged that the idea of private schools should be “illegal.”

“Communism is supposed to be the final stage,” Piker said. “It’s like the ultimate goal. It’s like the ultimate evolution, a stateless, moneyless, classless society. A borderless society. We’ve never really had communism. I know people will sometimes say jokingly, ‘True communism has never been tried.’ But it literally has never existed.”
