‘Women will respond’: Congress slams govt over ‘delay’ in 33% quota; says implement it at once

Congress national spokesperson Ragini Nayak on Saturday, April 25, 2026, attacked the central government over the issue of reservation and restriction of women, demanding immediate implementation of 33% quota in the 543 available Lok Sabha seats.

Addressing a press conference in Gurugram, she also demanded that women from Dalit, tribal and backward classes also get their due share from the reservation.
