20 illegal immigrants apprehended in Assam, pushed back to Bangladesh

Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma He said on Sunday, April 26, 2026, that 20 foreign nationals were captured in Assam and pushed back to Bangladesh.

“Rude people do not understand soft language. We constantly remind ourselves of this prophetic word when we expel spies from Assam who do not abandon them. For example, these 20 illegal Bangladeshis who were PUSHED BACK last night,” Mr. Sarma said in a post on X.
