20 Years of Revanth Reddy’s Political Journey: ZPTC to Telangana CM

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has successfully completed 20 years of his political journey. From serving as a member of ZPTC to becoming the Chief Minister of Telangana, his political journey was marked by perseverance, hardships and years of public service.
Fondly known as “Revanth Anna”, this man has a huge fan base in Telangana and is known for maintaining a close connect with people.
Over the past two decades he has faced many challenges, taken on a variety of roles and steadily risen through the political ranks while assuming a variety of responsibilities.
Revanth Reddy, who hails from Palamuru in Mahabubnagar, once known for youth migrating to other places in search of livelihood, often spoke about his vision of transforming the backward region into a developed and prosperous region. He emphasized on various occasions that the government was committed to the development of Palamuru through new educational institutions and irrigation projects.
Revanth Reddy is widely known for his oratory skills and command of both state and national issues.
Throughout his political career, he consistently defended the view that “the nation comes first” and said that public welfare remains his top priority.
Revanth Reddy, as Chief Minister, has often expressed concerns about Telangana’s Union government. He called Prime Minister Narendra Modi his “elder brother” and constantly sought the Centre’s support for the welfare and development of the state. He also quizzed the Center on various issues concerning Telangana and argued that the development needs of the state also deserved equal attention and support.
Under his leadership, the Telangana government aims to achieve greater milestones in governance, infrastructure, prosperity and economic development.
