Andhra University Centenary Celebrations Kick Start In Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: Andhra University’s centenary celebrations began here on Monday with the presence of Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer, Odisha Governor K Hari Babu and Union Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu also attended the event. 100th Foundation Day celebrations, A.Ü. It started with traditional dance performances in the Faculty of Engineering field, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the National Anthem.
Then the Vice President was congratulated. Governor Nazeer presented him with the centenary emblem while Chandrababu Naidu presented him with the idol of Sri Venkaeswara Swamy.
Elaborate arrangements were made for more than 25,000 people, including students and officials, to attend the graduation ceremony, and the campus was illuminated with colorful lights before the celebrations.
The Telugu film director, a former graduate of Andhra University, was also invited to the event and delivered the opening speech. A special postage stamp, coin and coffee table book were issued to mark the occasion.
