What should be expected

• Spray and sudden floods can lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closure
• By damaging some buildings from flood juice or lightning strikes, houses and businesses have the chance to get inundated rapidly.
• Some communities have a small chance of being cut by flooded ways
• There are delays for train and bus services where flood or lightning strikes occur.
• There is a slight chance of the formation of power cuts and other services to some houses and businesses.
• There is a small chance that causes a danger to the life of fast flowing or deep flood water

Met Office warned: “Monday, especially in the afternoon and early in the evening, scattered heavy shower and storms are expected. Many of them will miss the worst conditions, although it will see 30-50 mm rain in a few hours. Heavy rain will be the primary danger, but the potential to be full of lightning impact.
