4 Killed as Car Rams into Tea Stall in Vizianagaram
Hyderabad: Four people were killed when a speeding car crashed into a roadside tea stall and later into a truck on the national highway in Perapuram village in Vizianagaram district on Tuesday morning.
The accident took place while the car was returning from Vizianagaram to Visakhapatnam.
As a result of the car crashing into the tea house, two people drinking tea were thrown into the air and died at the scene. Another person sitting next to the driver of the vehicle died. According to police, another person died while being taken to the hospital.
Police stated that the two injured people were struggling to survive in the hospital, and that two of the dead were identified as Srinivas, a contractor who carried out irrigation projects and a resident of Visakhapatnam, and the other was Simhachalam from Bobbili.
Police stated that the accident occurred due to the negligence of the driver.
