GHMC Organises Indie pup Adoption, Stray Dog Sterilisation And Anti-Rabies Vac Drive

Hyderabad: As part of the Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika programme, GHMC on Tuesday organized an independent puppy adoption drive, sterilization of stray dogs and anti-rabies vaccinations. The initiative was taken by the GHMC veterinary department in all city circles; Here, a total of 27 independent puppies were adopted, 69 stray dogs were neutered and 495 dogs were vaccinated against rabies. This initiative aims to control the stray dog ​​population, prevent rabies and improve animal welfare, officials said. Citizens were encouraged to adopt independent puppies and support their care.
