Trump says Don Jr. would be ‘good’ host if ‘The Apprentice’ returns

President Donald Trump is addressing rumors that “The Apprentice” will return under the direction of his son, Donald Trump Jr.
On Thursday, Trump answered questions from reporters in the Oval Office and was asked his thoughts on the reality series making a comeback.
“Well, I heard about it,” Trump said, referring to rumors of a comeback.

“Look, we’ve had great success. 14 seasons and ‘The Apprentice’ was a tremendous success, so I hear that a little bit.

Trump concluded: “So we’ll see what happens. He’s a good guy. He’d probably be nice. He’s got some charisma. You need some charisma for this idiot. So we’ll see what happens.”

“The Apprentice” first aired in 2004, with Trump hosting it. He held this position until 2015, during which time various seasons and celebrity broadcasts were released. The series aired its last episode in 2017.

Trump’s son has no background in reality television but served as vice president of real estate development and acquisitions for the Trump business.
Don Jr. he was also heavily involved in Trump’s presidential campaigns and administration, often acting as a surrogate and public defender. He has also written books and is active in the media and public speaking.
