Beau Lamarre-Condon’s mum charged with allegedly interfering in double-murder case

Beau Lamarre-Condon’s mother has been accused of trying to influence a witness in her son’s upcoming murder trial.

Mr Lamarre-Condon, a former police officer, was accused of murdering Channel 10 presenter Jesse Baird and Mr Baird’s boyfriend, Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies.

Her mother Coleen Lamarre, 63, has been charged with “attempting to influence a key witness to alter her evidence” in the high-profile double murder case, NSW Police said on Wednesday.

He was arrested in Balmain on Wednesday and taken to Day St Police Station where he was charged with committing an act intended to pervert the course of justice.

He will appear in bail court on Thursday.

Mr Lamarre-Condon is accused of using his police firearm to kill the couple at a Paddington share house in Sydney’s inner east in February 2024, then packing their bodies into surfboard bags and taking them to a remote property in the southern plateaus of NSW.

He has pleaded not guilty and will fight the charges at a trial scheduled to begin in September this year.
