Bobby Norris leaves viewers in shock as he unveils new look on This Morning and reveals how a decade of ‘abusing fillers’ and online trolls led him to have a facelift aged just 39

Bobby Norris left ITV viewers in shock as he revealed his new look after undergoing a facelift at the age of 39, following a decade of “filler abuse” and online trolling.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star appeared on This Morning on Wednesday to reveal her renewed face following her trip to Türkiye to go under the knife earlier this year.
Bobby, 39, openly talked about his experiences with program hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard while explaining the reasons for having surgery despite his young age.
The reality TV star, who admitted she was ‘still swollen’ from a series of major surgeries carried out in March which included a neck, facelift and lower eyelid surgery, defended her decision to go under the knife.
The surgeries involved lifting, tightening and repositioning the muscles and skin on her face, neck and around her eyes to create a more youthful appearance.
Explaining his reasons for opting for surgery, Bobby explained that a decade of “abuse of fillers” had left his skin “like a deflated balloon”.
‘What did he do?’ Bobby Norris left This Morning viewers in shock (left) as he unveiled his new look on This Morning on Wednesday, revealing how a decade of ‘abusing fillers’ and online trolls led him to get a facelift aged just 39.
Explaining why he opted for surgery, Bobby explained that a decade of “abuse of fillers” had left his skin “like a deflated balloon”.
She told Ben and Cat: I was really abusing fillers and that was for a period of ten years. I was going every 12 weeks… Skin is about elasticity and I stretched it, it’s like if I fill a balloon for ten years and then one day I try to pop it, it stretches and becomes baggy.’
Social media lover Bobby shared photos of his passionate physique on Instagram
Bobby has changed his look dramatically since these topless photos were taken on the beach in 2014.
She told Ben and Cat: ‘I’ll be really honest, I always documented everything, but I was really abusing fillers and that was for a period of ten years. I was going every 12 weeks, some people don’t go to the hairdresser that often.
‘There was nothing subtle about it and it’s important for people to realize that; Although fillings are not permanent, this is not a surgery, there is always a line you can cross.
‘Leather is about elasticity and I’ve stretched it, it’s like filling a balloon for ten years and then one day trying to pop the balloon, it will stretch and become loose.
‘I was like a space hopper, so when I took it all out, there wasn’t going to be a cream on the market to get me there.
‘I had health problems last year, but the doctor was quite honest; I was getting so many tests that I had more blood in the refrigerators in Essex than Mounjaro.
‘Dear doctor said, ‘We have a specialist here… you could die within 12 hours’ and in your head you think, ‘I can’t die, I’m going to Sheesh tonight’ it sounds really crazy.
‘You don’t expect to hear that at my age, and I thought, we all have things in our minds about age, and I thought, why am I waiting until I’m in my 40s to fix things? [I want to do].
‘I’m looking forward to my 40s but there’s no guarantee of tomorrow and do what makes you feel better and I’ve always been honest about that.
‘I know that when I’m in my 30s, I’ll have a new break on social media.’
Defending his decision to showcase his post-surgery recovery on social media, Bobby continued: ‘There are a lot of people who aren’t open about it, no tea, no shade.
‘I don’t believe in lying to the people who have followed and watched me for 15 years because this can’t be achieved with honey and oatmeal scrubs.
‘We all know some people who stand on the red carpet and say ‘eight hours of sleep, two liters of H20 and a honey and oatmeal scrub’ and you think ‘darling, don’t lie to people’.
There’s something impressive, they go to David Lloyd, there are other gyms available, they’ll do three squats on a tripod, then they go on a five-day retreat and they come back trying to be a Kardashian.
‘When I was growing up we had magazines, thankfully we didn’t have social media, it’s not fair to the people who follow them but I think you have to be really honest.’
Asked by Cat if he now feels he’s “done enough” when it comes to surgery, Bobby refused to rule out the possibility of going under the knife again.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star appeared on This Morning on Wednesday to reveal her renewed face following her trip to Türkiye to go under the knife earlier this year.
He has been very open about his transformation over the years.
Bobby shared with fans new photos of his swollen and bruised face following his recent plastic surgery.
Bobby had a hair transplant at the Elithair clinic in Türkiye in January 2025 to change his hairline.
Bobby, who was not shy about the recovery process, admitted that he experienced ‘discomfort’ for a while after the surgery and was relieved due to the ‘pain relief’.
Asked by host Ben if he was worried he would have ‘regrets’ about the surgery later, Bobby replied: ‘I had no choice where to stretch. [the skin].
‘When we went into lockdown [during coronavirus]ITV was playing loads of old TOWIE – and it was like looking through a photo album and it was ten years of my life, different nose, different teeth.
‘For a few weeks I could see what the trolls have been saying for years and you don’t notice the subtle things about yourself when you’re changing them and it wasn’t until we went into lockdown again that I started getting into my fitness.
‘For me, I thought I wanted to remove all my fillers but I crossed the line, so I can’t really regret having a facelift because it pretty much fixes my self-abuse.
‘I never follow a trend with my stuff, I’m pretty much correcting my stupidity about abusing fillers and I think it’s really important for people to know that.
‘If it’s for yourself, do what makes you happy, but you can cross the line with fillers.’
Asked by Cat if he now feels he’s “done enough” when it comes to surgery, Bobby refused to rule out the possibility of going under the knife again.
He added: ‘I know the right answer to sit here and say and I’m not going to lie to you, it’s impossible for me to say that and the truth is I probably will.
‘I can’t lie and say I can’t have it anymore. ‘I don’t know, I guess body dysmorphia is such a thing… it’s not something I would ever rush into.’
Fans soon flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to voice their thoughts on Bobby’s new look, with one penning: ‘What did he do?’
Another chimed in: ‘This is so sad. I’m too young to do this and I don’t want to be bad but I didn’t need to,’ while a third wrote: ‘I’m sorry but this isn’t normal. He’s not even 40 years old yet. ‘There’s no need for all this surgery.’
A fourth asked: ‘Why did he do this to himself?’ A fifth agreed: ‘Oh Bobby what you did, you’re such a nice guy it didn’t need to be done.’
Earlier this month, Bobby shared with fans new photos of her swollen and bruised face after undergoing yet another round of plastic surgery.
He shocked his followers by revealing his pain-filled face early last month.
On Instagram, she shared a video taken while she was still in the hospital during her surgery, along with tips for her fans.
In the clip, Bobby’s face is extremely swollen, his eyelids are red and swollen, making him difficult to see. He said: ‘I had a really bad night’s sleep last night, didn’t get much sleep. My eyes are very sore and dry today.’
Bobby joined TOWIE in 2012 and became known for his friendship with Gemma Collins and romances with the likes of ex Harry Derbidge.
In 2024, she was forced to shut down speculation that she would undergo gender reassignment surgery and change her appearance after undergoing multiple plastic treatments.
I tell her followers: ‘I had upper left blepharoplasty, which is upper eyelid surgery. ‘I had fat removed from my cheeks, under-chin liposuction and 360 body liposuction.’
She has previously admitted she ‘fell down the rabbit hole of getting fillers’ after being offered free treatment during her time on TOWIE.
Last year Bobby spoke about realizing he had gone ‘too far’, admitting: ‘Sometimes you don’t realize how you look until you see certain photos or paparazzi photos. ‘I don’t look like myself anymore.’
Plastic surgeon Dr., who is an expert in natural aesthetics. Mo Hamed previously told the Daily Mail: ‘When Bobby started on TOWIE he was quite baby-faced considering his young age and had had little or no treatment.
‘He has undergone numerous cosmetic procedures over the years, including Botox, jawline fillers and cheek fillers but now Bobby has taken his adjustments to the next level by making surgical, irreversible improvements.
‘He recently talked about having his cheek fat removed; This is where the surgeon removes fat between your cheekbones and jawline to give the client a more sculpted and decadent model appearance and a sharp jawline.
‘But the long-term effect of losing your buckle fat pad could be disastrous because it can help give your face a more youthful appearance as you age. Bobby also explained that he had 360-degree liposuction.’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
