I’m A Celeb’s David Haye takes final swipe at ‘broken’ Adam Thomas as boxer is eliminated alongside Gemma Collins – after hosts Ant and Dec blasted his behaviour in camp

David Haye couldn’t resist delivering a final blow to Adam Thomas, who became the second campmate to be eliminated from I’m A Celeb All Stars – with Gemma Collins also sent packing on Monday night.
During his exit chat, the champion boxer, 45, was asked about his testy relationship with the Waterloo Road star, 37, which exploded on screen and caused a backlash for both men.
He said: ‘No bad blood on my part. Look, I’ve been immersed in the hardcore boxing gym since I was ten years old. I literally fight every day, pushing myself to my limits physically and mentally, with guys much bigger than me. I won the world heavyweight championship against a two-meter Russian giant.
‘When a grown man tells me that an entertaining TV show for which we get paid a lot of money every day is the hardest thing that’s ever happened to him, that’s not a frequency I recognize.
‘I was actually on my best behavior there, to be honest.
He then warned: ‘I’ve spoken to Adam, I’ve given my opinion and some of what’s still on air will speak for itself, I’ll leave it at that.’
David chose to take fan favorite Gemma with him because ‘We were both dying to get back to our partners and I think we both deserved it.

‘We were ready to call it a day and move on.’
The eliminations took place after Ashley Roberts won the final challenge. He was safe from elimination and had to choose someone to save alongside him.
Then having to choose another campmate to save, he chose Scarlett Moffatt, and so on.
David and Sinitta were the last two remaining and Beverley Callard chose Sinitta to save.
David had to choose someone to take with him and he chose GC.
Comes after show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly blasted David in rare comments about the show.
Ant said on the ITV1 show’s podcast I’m a Celebrity… about David’s behaviour: ‘This is not a pleasant watch. He kind of picks and chooses them.
‘The guy’s had a bit of a rough time and he’s not coping very well. Frankly, there was a lot of banter. But David won’t stop.’
Dec agrees: ‘It’s kind of crossed the line into banter. I don’t find it very comfortable to watch.’
Adam broke his silence with a candid social media post about their on-screen fight, admitting he felt ‘hurt’ by David while filming in South Africa.
The man said he was ‘physically, mentally and emotionally’ challenged during his time on the hit series and that he ‘couldn’t recognize himself’ in some episodes.
He added: ‘He [David] He broke me, he pushed me to my limits, I told David and he apologized, that’s all! I’ve moved on now and I’m not one to hold grudges.
The pair fell out in Thursday’s episode after Adam sneaked chocolate into camp for the team, breaking one of ITV’s rules and thus the two stars locked horns, namely smaller portion sizes.

David said of Adam: ‘When a grown man tells me that a fun TV show for which we get paid a lot of money every day is the hardest thing he’s ever experienced, that’s not a frequency I recognize.’
It comes after the show’s hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly slammed David in rare comments on the show.
In this week’s post, Adam said he was ‘physically, mentally and emotionally’ challenged during his time on the hit series and that he ‘couldn’t recognize himself’ in some episodes.
David wanted Adam to eat fewer dinners, but this was met with protest from Beverly Callard and Jimmy Bullard.
The man later confronted David about his reaction to the dinner segment and the soap actor called him over and said: ‘Well, me and you are out now.’
Annoyed, David replied: ‘We got a lot less than we should’ve gotten when dessert was served, and Scarlett Moffatt ended the argument by saying ‘Leave her alone.’
The Adam received backlash online from fans of the show for their feud, and in response Adam addressed his behavior on social media.
Sharing a photo of herself looking sad in a hammock, the Waterloo Road star explained that her ‘arthritis is really taking its toll’ and that she is struggling to ‘hide the pain’.
Adam was diagnosed with autoimmune psoriatic arthritis in 2023 and described his ‘biggest challenge’
The full statement reads: ‘I’m not going to lie, this photo breaks my heart because I know what I’m dealing with from the inside and truth be told I thought this was all my fault. Now I know that’s not the truth…
‘I’m a Celebrity’ My time in South Africa was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced, physically, mentally and emotionally.
‘Watching it again wasn’t easy at all. ‘There were moments when I felt pushed to my absolute limit and, to be honest, there were times when I didn’t even recognize myself.’
‘Living with arthritis is something I don’t talk about as much as I should… but it’s really taken its toll there.
‘My biggest fight was trying to put on a brave face and hide the pain! This in itself can be tiring. There were days when my body didn’t want to continue, but I did.
‘I’m not going to sit here and say I handled everything perfectly, because I didn’t. I wish I had spoken for myself sooner. I wish I could stand my ground instead of trying to keep the peace, but I’ve learned that being kind doesn’t mean being weak, and sometimes finding your voice requires going through tough moments.’
Adam concluded by saying that he was in a “better place now” and that he was proud of not quitting I’m a Celebrity and that he had spoken to David, who has since apologized to him.
He said: ‘I’ve taken the time to sort everything out since I was announced and I’m in a much better place now. I let go of my anger, had the conversations I needed to have, and chose peace.
‘What I am most proud of in times like these is that I wanted to walk, I wanted to quit, but I couldn’t. Even if I want to walk away, even if it’s too much for me, I never give up! And that means everything to me.
‘He broke me there, pushed me to my limits and I told David and he apologized and that was it! I’ve moved on now, I’m not one to hold grudges.
‘But thank you for all your lovely messages and all your kind words.
