Meghan and Harry torched as TV host weighs in on reconciliation | Royal | News

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been savagely humiliated once again as a TV presenter weighed in on their chances of a reconciliation with the royal family. The couple stepped down from royal duties in early 2020 and their relationship with the royal family was at an all-time low.

Speaking on Sky News Australia, where the couple visited earlier this month, television presenter Megyn Kelly weighed in on whether Meghan, 44, and Harry, 41, might be ready to repair their relationship with members of The Firm. The couple has a particularly estranged relationship with Prince William and Princess Catherine; It is unknown when the once close siblings last spoke.

After listing several things Harry had done to upset his father over the years, Ms Kelly said she was unsure of the chances of reconciliation.

She said: “If I were King Charles I’d be angry but he doesn’t sound angry. All the reports about him are that he’s extremely forgiving of Prince Harry but he’s such a bad-mannered and brat son that he’s decided to mistreat his own father and he’s got it in his ear.”

“I don’t know about the compromise because the Duke and Duchess don’t seem interested in hypocrisy. They’re too busy firing more staff and reducing people to tears in Montecito.”

He then looked to the future where Prince William will become King and added: “It won’t get any better for them when William comes to the throne, those two hate each other now, William and Harry.

“So I don’t know, I guess these two are really good at alienating their fathers.”

The King is currently on a four-day visit to the US and the trip will end today.

The 77-year-old monarch and Queen Camilla, 78, arrived in Washington DC on Monday, where the couple reunited with the US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump.

Despite being in the US, the King reportedly has no plans to visit Harry, Meghan and their children in California.
