How LPG price hike will impact not just food prices in Bengaluru, but also bottled water and spices

From filter coffee to idli, dosa, meals and beyond, eating out in Bengaluru will be further challenged after the price of a commercial LPG cylinder in the city touched ₹3,152 following a steep increase of ₹993, an all-time high announced by the Union Government on May 1.

Hoteliers confirmed that drinks in small and medium-sized restaurants will become expensive by about 25 percent, while food items will increase by at least 20 percent.
