Emily Atack shows off bronzed glow in immaculate social media snaps – before making low-key arrival at Rivals screening

Emily Atack unveiled two very different looks as she prepared for a special screening of Rivals on Thursday.

The actress will reprise her role as aspiring TV presenter Sarah Stratton in the second series of the popular show, which returns to Amazon Prime on May 15.

Attending a preview screening at London’s Soho Hotel, Atack, 36, looked gorgeous in a chic satin top and black trousers alongside her co-stars on the red carpet.

She completed her look with a pair of gold-capped stiletto heels, while her tousled hair was styled in her signature updo.

But posts shared on social media earlier that night revealed a very different outlook; a filtered Atack revealed sharper features and a bronze glow when modeling a smart linen fabric.

Rivals will return to Disney+ with 12 new episodes, which will be released in two parts on May 15.

Atack recently considered portraying ‘flawed’ women ahead of her raunchy new series Rivals, which airs next month.

The Disney+ project, based on Jilly Cooper’s novel of the same name, became an instant hit when it launched in 2024.

Atack, whose nude tennis scene was one of the most memorable parts of series one, described Sarah (MP Paul Stratton’s second wife) as ‘an absolute nightmare’ in a new interview.

he said Times: ‘In the past, people never wanted to admit that they identified with characters like Sarah because she was random and mischievous.

‘Now characters like him, people say, ‘Why do I support them?’ they ask. That’s what I’m for. ‘I want to play a flawed woman who is in a complete predicament.’

Disney is said to be so confident it will do well that talks about a third series have already begun.

The third episode of the show will be based on Jilly’s 1991 novel Polo, the third book in the Rutshire Chronicles.

A source told The Sun: ‘It’s not yet clear whether the next series will still be called Rivals, or whether it will become Polo or something else entirely.

Filming for the third series could begin later this year and is likely to air in late 2027 or early 2028.
