Non-Kapus Unhappy With Jana Sena In Allocation Of Posts

kakinada:Non-Kapu in Jana Sena (JS) are unhappy with the party leadership as all important posts are given to people from the Kapu community.
Many OS leaders expected to be recognized and appointed to senior administrative posts, but in vain. They say that the two leaders enjoyed three duties each, while the other leaders were not left aside.
Jana Sena’s Kakinada convener Thota Sudhir is the chairman of the civil supplies company and chairman of the local Durgamma Thalli temple trust board. Non-kapu leaders claimed he enjoyed three tasks.
The party’s Kakinada district president, Thummala Ramaswamy alias Babu, is the chairman of the district cooperative central bank and is also in-charge of Peddapuram constituency. He was earlier appointed chairman of the Kakinada urban development authority.
He resigned as KUDA chairman after the party faced allegations regarding appointments. Now another leader Talatam Naga Venkata Satyanarayana (Talatam Satya) was appointed as the president. This disturbed the non-Kapus.
While many non-kapu leaders quietly lament their sidelining, some leaders are speaking out. Recently, Jana Sena leader and fishermen leader M. Gangadhar questioned the injustice meted out to Kakinada Lok Sabha member Uday Srinivas.
He said: “I and some of my community leaders have spent lakhs for the election victory of Jana Sena candidates but we are being ignored in the party.”
“Some leaders are taking office without doing any work for the party. Jana Sena party is doing injustice to BC and SC leaders. I am giving ration etc. to 400 poor families in the name of Pawan Kalyan. I am also doing other service activities for the party to gain a good name. But the party has not recognized my services,” he told the MP bitterly.
It was learned that the deputy could not answer him.
Gangadhar said around 1.30 lakh BCs, including 80,000 fishermen, live in Kakinada constituency. In the last elections, they mostly made intense efforts for JS and other alliance candidates to win. candidates.
“I have asked local leaders to arrange an appointment with Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan to convey the fishermen’s problems to him. But so far, this has not happened,” he said.
However, some leaders in these communities are hopeful that Pawan Kalyan will treat them fairly in the future.
