Sringeri constituency: Verification of postal ballots, recount begin in Chikkamagaluru

As per the direction of the Karnataka High Court, verification of postal ballot papers for Sringeri Assembly constituency during the April-May 2023 elections has begun.

The constituency’s strong room at the EVM depot in Shivamogga was inaugurated in the presence of the Returning Officer. The box containing the mail-in ballots was transported to IDSG College where verification and counting took place.
