Meghan Markle will make a big return to the UK this year for the first time since 2022. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, is said to be returning to her husband’s hometown with him in June to mark the one-year countdown event to the Invictus Games in Birmingham next year.
Meghan’s return to the UK with Prince Harry will be a big event for the duchess, who has not set foot in the UK for almost four years. It is believed that the duchess will make efforts to make peace with Harry’s family during the visit, particularly his father King Charles, and reportedly wants to show that he is “not the bad guy he is made out to be”.
Sources told Naughty But Nice‘s Rob Shuter In February: “Staying true to his titles is very important to his brand, so he’s very motivated to make amends with Harry’s family.
“He’ll come with a pile of gifts. He’s tasked his staff with finding something for every member of the family. Even second and third cousins will get packages from him.”
They continued: “He is determined to prove that he is not the bad guy he should be.”
