Prince Harry’s bombshell interview was 1 year ago – he’s learnt nothing | Royal | News

It’s been a year since Prince Harry dropped another bombshell on the Royal Family. No, I’m not talking about the Oprah Winfrey 2021 interview. No, I’m not talking about the Netflix docuseries or memoirs either.
In true Harry style, he spoke critically about the Royal Family and claimed his father wouldn’t talk to him. He also claimed that his security was only downgraded in 2020 to enable him to continue working at the Firm, which later led him to make comments accusing some people of not wanting him, his wife and children to feel safe.
Instead of learning to let things go, or at least handle them privately, Harry has shown just last month that he doesn’t actually know when to stop talking.
He also didn’t learn that criticizing royal life got him nowhere. In fact, this takes him further away from making peace with his family, which he has repeatedly stated.
In a speech in Australia in April, Harry claimed he never wanted the royal role and even went so far as to say it was royal life that “killed” his mother, Princess Diana, who died after a car crash in Paris in 1997.
The duke said: “After my mother died just before my 13th birthday, I thought: ‘I don’t want this job. I don’t want this role; wherever this goes, I don’t like it.’
“He killed my mother and I was very against it and buried my head in the sand for years.”
This certainty doesn’t make life as a royal look good. He also appears critical of the Firm, of which his entire family is a part, just as he did in a BBC interview a year ago.
Harry, Harry, Harry… when will you learn that criticizing the royal firm won’t get you anywhere? The compromise you said you wanted? If you continue to criticize everything and anything related to your royal relatives, you may throw away any chance of being close to them again and say goodbye.
