UK Bank Holiday weather: Live tracker maps for your local forecast

The warm weather seen earlier this week will give way to wetter, more unstable conditions at the start of the early May bank holiday, which is bad news for millions of Britons heading out for the long weekend.
While the temperature is expected to reach 25 degrees in the east of England on Saturday, showers and occasional thunderstorms are expected in other parts of the country.
However, the weather will remain unstable over the bank holiday weekend, with temperatures expected to drop below 20C across the country by Monday.
Met Office deputy chief Tom Crabtree said: “Conditions are expected to become more unstable by Friday, with rain and showers spreading from the south-west, some heavy and possibly thunderstorms.
“Coming into the Bank Holiday weekend the weather looks more variable, with showers at times (especially in the north) but also some spells of sunshine.”

Met Office spokesman Grahame Madge said: “There is a possibility of very heavy, thunderstorms arriving in southern parts of England on Saturday.
“We’ve got some pretty widespread showers Saturday night and into Sunday and then from Sunday onwards we’ll start to see a cooler influence come in and bring some showers.”
