TRS chief K Kavitha on Delimitation Bill: “Every state should have fixed number of representatives”

He added that his (newly formed) party will focus 95 per cent of its work on the development and welfare of the state in Telangana and internally.
“My party will be a very introverted party. 95 per cent of the work will be about Telangana and the development and prosperity of Telangana at home. But there will be some issues where we will have to work with the union government to make sure that our people are safe and policies made at the union level will have to not affect our states… I have a very important proposal on delimitation. I will also write to the Prime Minister. The proposal is that the number of MPs in the Lok Sabha should increase. It should be divided according to population. Each state should have a fixed number of representatives in the Rajya Sabha. Each state has equal voting rights.” must have.” Kavitha said at a press conference on Saturday.
