Princess Charlotte turns 11 as Prince William, Kate Middleton share new portrait

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a new portrait of Princess Charlotte for her 11th birthday on Saturday, along with a video of her playing around on a recent beach holiday.

The posts come just two days after King Charles wrapped up a successful four-day US state visit with President Donald Trump, as the royal family remains in the political spotlight.

The snap was taken by the Welsh family’s go-to photographer, Matt Porteous, who also captured the photo William and Kate shared for Prince Louis’ eighth birthday a week ago.

Orla’s son Otto also got his own royal birthday wish on Friday, with a windy photo and the caption: “Welcome to the family, Otto! 1 today.”

Charlotte’s older brother, Prince George, who is second in line to the throne after his father, will turn 13 on July 22.

Charles left the United States on Thursday for an official visit to Bermuda, which is part of the Commonwealth, after a bilateral meeting with Trump and a four-day visit during which he had a state dinner at the White House, addressed Congress, attended a Sept. 11 wreath-laying ceremony in New York City and traveled to Virginia for 250th anniversary celebrations.
