J&K L-G galvanises massive public support against drug abuse, says neighbouring country using it for terrorism, radicalisation

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha launched a massive rally for the ongoing anti-drug initiatives in Srinagar on Sunday, May 3, 2026, and issued a stern warning to narco-terror networks and anti-national elements.

On Mr. Sinha’s invitation, the Speaker, Cabinet Ministers, legislators, heads of regional parties, senior security officials, religious leaders, administrators of educational institutions and hospitals took part in a two-kilometer rally from the Tourist Reception Center (TRC) ground to Lal Chowk. At the event, students showed skits and sang songs and raised awareness about substance addiction.
