Royal Family LIVE: Meghan Markle’s ‘strategic move’ to ‘steal spotligh | Royal | News

Meghan Markle “knew exactly what she was doing” when she posted the latest video showing Princess Lilibet and her chicken, hours after the photo of King Charles feeding the flock, sources claim. The Duchess of Sussex took to her Instagram page on Thursday last week to share two new stories from the chicken coop at her Montecito home as the King wrapped up his US state visit.
While accompanying Meghan on a tour of the chocolate chicken coop in Los Angeles, Princess Lilibet was soon seen wearing a pink dress, playing in the coop and saying an inaudible sentence to her mother. “Thanks, honey,” the mother replied.
Sources claimed that the sharing of the video and its timing were not coincidental; because the Duchess wanted to shift the narrative from the royal family to Montecito. A source told the journalist: Rob Shuter: “The moment Charles started winning the news cycle, Meghan jumped into action. She knows exactly how this game works. She quickly changes the subject when the Palace gains momentum. This didn’t happen spontaneously. It was strategic.”
A Palace source added: “No one here is even remotely surprised. Charles gets brilliant news and suddenly something comes out of Montecito. It’s almost part of the rhythm at this point. Charles makes headlines, Meghan resets the narrative,” says the insider. “This is media strategy.”
