People of Tamil Nadu have endorsed coalition government: VCK’s Thirumavalavan

Perhaps giving hints of the future is Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) founder and Chidambaram MP Thol. While underlining the people’s decision to reject the BJP and AIADMK, Thirumavalavan on Tuesday (May 5, 2026) said that he sees the fragmented 2026 Assembly election verdict as a message that the people prefer a coalition government in Tamil Nadu.

In his statement, Mr. Thirumavalavan said that the people of Tamil Nadu were sending a “political message” by not giving a simple majority to any party.
