US intercepts 6 ships trying to run American blockade, Hegseth says

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced Tuesday that six ships attempted to bypass the US military’s blockade of Iranian ports during the operation to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but all were turned back.
“In fact, as Project Freedom was starting, six ships tried to lift the blockade of Iranian ports and they were all reversed,” Hegseth told reporters at the Pentagon on Tuesday.
