Baby dies after ‘incident’ at home in south Manchester

A baby has reportedly died following an ‘incident’ at a house in south Manchester.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, rushed to a property on Platt Lane, Fallowfield, on Thursday morning.
A neighbor reported seeing a paramedic running away from the house with the baby. ‘It was terrible. It’s very scary,’ said the resident.
According to information obtained, a baby died at the scene. Manchester Evening NewsHowever, this has not yet been confirmed by the police.
It is not yet known whether the death is considered suspicious.
Detectives and forensic investigators were seen at the property this afternoon as the investigation began.
A neighbor said: ‘There were lots of police and two ambulances. ‘I heard one of them talking about a child.’
Another added: ‘I didn’t see or hear anything until a police officer knocked on my door.
