Disney’s big mistake with “Star Wars” was turning Luke Skywalker into Mark Hamill: miserable, pathetic and sad

I’ve been saying this for years, but it bears repeating today: Luke Skywalker has become such a miserable, demoralizing loser.

Just an old, insufferable, poor, sad loser.

I can’t believe Mark Hamill made the world hate Luke Skywalker. 30 years ago this was almost impossible. Or 20 years ago. Or actually even 10 years ago.

But a lot has changed in ten years. Hamill, like much of Hollywood, suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome. I think he was first diagnosed in 2016 and now it’s really starting to get worse. You see this in older people, right? Right now I see that my grandmother is at the nursing home down the street.

It’s sad again. It’s brutal to watch. But that’s how these diseases work. They transform you into a completely different person. This is what we see with Mark Hamill.

For those who missed it, Hamill shared a photo showing President Trump in the coffin on his Bluesky account earlier this week. Yes, I said Bluesky. I know, try to stop laughing. Mark swore years ago that he shut down Elon’s Twitter after Trump won the election. True story.

Anyway, Hamill faced such intense backlash to the photo that he predictably deleted it Thursday night and replaced it with some kind of BS apology that no one believed and didn’t really care about. He clearly tried to spin the photo, which showed a dead Trump, as something else.

OK, Mark. Whatever you say, buddy.

I don’t care about this. Mark Hamill has been a crazy person for years. Believe them when they show you their true colors. We all know you’re obsessed with the president. This is not news.

But Hamill’s disgusting post comes after a bad week for “Star Wars,” and that’s what I want to talk about here.

Disney’s ‘Star Wars’ is heading south quickly

Earlier this week, Nielsen released last year’s streaming data for Star Wars. It really painted a bad picture for Disney’s controversial sequels.

And by “really bad” I mean not only do people not watch them, but people completely ignore them.

None of the sequels to Disney’s Skywalker saga — “The Force Awakens,” “The Last Jedi” or “The Rise of Skywalker” — cracked the top 10 most-watched Star Wars movies/shows last May. Not one.

The list is mostly a mix of originals and three prequels, along with a few Disney TV installments (Andor).

I knew fans despised this new trilogy… I didn’t realize they actually hated it enough to literally ignore it. at least i thought One I would make the list, right?

Wrong. And the reason for this is so obvious…

Look at Mark Hamill. HE Definitely What Star Wars had become caught Disney’s attention. It’s a tiresome, preachy, frankly boring and outdated version of its former self.

That’s what Star Wars has become, and that’s what Mark Hamill has become.

The writing is lazy. Battles are boring. The scenario makes no sense. Above all, it has become unwatchable, unbearable, and full of virtue signaling. This has been the case throughout Hollywood since Donald Trump first took office in 2016.

John Boyega, who plays Finn, a Black stormtrooper in the sequels, once complained that Disney mishandled the introduction of a Black character. Really. He was upset that his Black character wasn’t more central in the last two films.

And you know what? He was right. Finn’s arc was terrible and it shows how bad the writing was. But that had nothing to do with him being Black. He was a good character that was completely failed by Disney. I don’t care if it’s Black, White or purple; character STUNK.

Boyega, of course, made this about race. It was tiring again.

Star Wars’ death is the same as Luke Skywalker’s death

However, this was the case in all sequels except the first one. Disney admitted that this film is more of a tribute to fans, with most of the main cast returning. Surprisingly, it was the best of the three…by a mile.

Hamill returned to reprise his role as Luke Skywalker in “The Last Jedi,” and that’s when things really started to spiral. In real life, like Hamill, Luke had become an unrecognizable loser. Just a poor, sad old man who hates the world and spends his days in solitude. It was embarrassing.

Luke’s death and Boyega whining about the Black stormtrooper weren’t the only reasons why Disney’s three movies failed.

• There were also rumors of a gay love story between Finn and Poe.
• The introduction of Asian interest in Finn in the second movie literally made no sense. And I mean it makes NO sense.
• And of course, the reintroduction of the emperor in the final episode, even though Darth Vader killed him decades ago.

Feel free to watch. He turned to the big screen, hanging from some kind of coat hanger in a cave. This was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen.

Besides Disney’s portrayal of Luke, of course. This was their big mistake. I can get over virtue signaling, bad writing, and Carrie Fisher floating in space (seriously).
