Hantavirus ship approaches Tenerife as residents express anger and resignation

It will not dock directly at Tenerife, instead it will anchor offshore and its passengers will be ferried to Granadilla, the large industrial port in the south-east of the island, well away from populated areas. They will be repatriated shortly after their arrival or, in the case of the 14 Spaniards on board, taken to Madrid for quarantine.
