The Future Queen rocked glittery makeup with a smoky eye and a half-updo of loose waves; But it was her jewelery that stole the show. Catherine was wearing a pair of pearl earrings and a pearl bracelet, and these two pieces belonged to important members of the Firm.

Prince William and Catherine hosted the second of their King’s Garden parties at Buckingham Palace on behalf of Her Majesty.

The royal couple were joined by other royals, including Zara Tindall and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

They met guests from their various patronages, military affiliations and passion projects, including tenants from the Homewards and Duchy of Cornwall territories.

Some of those who met the future King and Queen today included Rhian Mannings, who lost her son to a secret illness and then her husband to suicide.

Southport survivor Leanne Lucas met the royal couple and said: “I met William and Kate the last time they were in Southport, so I am a teacher who survived the 2024 Southport attack, so it was really like meeting an old friend again because the last time we met we had some very personal conversations.

“William wants to check that I’m looking after my health on top of all the knife crime campaigns we’ve been running.”

He said of meeting Kate: “The last time I met her I was so down, we met them while the investigation was going on, so she said she was so happy to see me full of energy, passion and enthusiasm again and said ‘it’s lovely to see you as you should be and as you were before the terrible things happened’ so it was lovely.”
