CBI searches 17 locations in Reliance ADA Group cases

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday, May 9, 2026, filed a lawsuit against Reliance Telecom Ltd., Reliance Commercial Finance Limited and Reliance Home Finance Ltd. and its directors, searched 17 premises in Mumbai in connection with three cases registered against them.
The agency said, “During the searches, it was revealed that more than one intermediary firm was operating from the same address.”
Over the last few months, the CBI has registered seven cases against Group entities based on complaints filed by various Public Sector Banks and LIC in connection with alleged fraud involving thousands of billions of rupees. The total amount of loss claimed in these cases was stated to be ₹ 27,337 crore.
