Meghan shares adorable pics of Lilibet and Archie on ‘joint birthday trip’ at Disneyland as she and Harry are joined by her mother Doria Ragland

Prince Harry and Meghan took Archie and Lilibet to Disneyland for a double birthday celebration and shared all the highlights on Instagram.

Lilibet, who turns five on June 4, clearly enjoyed being around the Disney princesses and was photographed sweetly hugging Cinderella.

There was also footage of him meeting Sleeping Beauty’s Princess Aurora; But Archie, who turned seven on May 6, hid behind a pillar as his excited mother looked on.

But Lilibet was much less eager to meet Darth Vader and the Star Wars stormtroopers standing behind her parents.

‘They were celebrating their children’s birthdays together. “The kids have been on a lot of trips,” a Sussex resident told People, the couple’s preferred US publication.

Doria Ragland also arrived at the theme park in Anaheim, California, yesterday.

Meghan apparently invited her as a way to extend their joint Mother’s Day celebration from Sunday.

Meghan shared a fun video of them meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse on Lilibet.

“This was a special way for Meghan and her mother to extend Mother’s Day,” a source told People.

The Disney trip mirrored last year’s trip when Lilibet turned four.

Harry and Meghan posed on the balcony with their children, whose faces were partially covered with emojis.

This year’s photos showed their daughter wearing a floral summer dress and her strawberry blonde hair tied back.

It was clear that Archie was growing up.

He was wearing jeans, sneakers and a dark t-shirt, along with a fun Disney hat and sunglasses.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex keep their children very private but seem to make exceptions for birthdays and other occasions.

Last week, Meghan shared a rare photo of Archie as a baby to celebrate his 7th birthday; The young royal was seen sleeping on top of Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex posted a pair of never-before-seen photos on Instagram, one with the prince lying on his father’s chest and the other with his younger sister, Princess Lilibet, on the beach.

‘7 years later…happy birthday to our sweet boy,’ Meghan wrote alongside the photos.

Born on May 6, 2019, at London’s private Portland Hospital rather than the traditional Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital, the Sussexes chose to deviate from royal convention by rejecting the traditional press photocall.

But the biggest scandal surrounding the birth of the young royal appeared to be about her title. Or actually the lack of it.

Shortly after Archie’s birth, Meghan announced that Archie would become a ‘private citizen’ without a title as they did not want the child to be bound by tradition.

The couple were insistent that they wanted their son to be known simply as ‘Mr Archie’ and not carry a royal title, which was done to help protect his privacy.

When Harry and Meghan made the unprecedented decision to give up their royal roles in 2020, it was unknown what the future of their son Archie, who did not have a title at the time, would look like.

At the time, journalists such as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s future biographer Omid Scobie gushed that the decision was ‘part of’ their desire to give their son ‘as normal a life as possible’.

Archie and Lilibet were not ‘princes’ and ‘princesses’ when they were born as they were not grandchildren of the monarch at the time. However, they were entitled to these titles with the accession of King Charles to the throne in 2022.

Harry and Meghan are understood to be keen not to deny their children Archie and Lilibet their birthright, giving them the chance to decide whether to give up their titles or continue using them when they grow up.

King Charles has reportedly only met Archie a few times and Lilibet only once in 2022.
