CSK Lead IPL 2026 Viewership Charts Despite Dhoni’s Absencem, RCB Close Second

As the Indian Premier League approaches mid-season, many teams have noted viewing and popularity trends. Despite MS Dhoni’s absence throughout the season, Chennai Super Kings remain the most watched IPL team in the 2026 season too, with an average of 308 million viewers per match across television and JioHotstar combined.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is second on the list with an average of 303 million viewers per match, while Mumbai Indians are third with 293 million viewers.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are at the fourth spot with an average of 290 million viewers per match, while Kolkata Knight Riders complete the list at fifth place with 280 million.

In terms of viewership on Hotstar alone, RCB leads the way ahead of CSK with an average of 307.20 million viewers per match. Mumbai Indians stood second with 274.20 million viewers, while CSK fell to third place with an average of 270.30 million viewers per match. Rajasthan Royals is fourth with 259.90 million viewers and SRH is fifth with an average of 245.73 million viewers per match.
