At least on Thursday (May 14), the unity platform of the United Democratic Front (UDF), which gave the alliance a spectacular election victory, appeared shaky after Mr. Chennithala skipped a Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) meeting chaired by Mr. Satheesan and remained out of touch after the high command appointed Mr. Satheesan to the top job.
