Satavahana University Pushes Industry-Ready Training, Inks Four MoUs
-Warangal: Satavahana University on Monday signed four Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with technology and education firms to improve employability and research capabilities of students as part of Telangana State Education Week celebrations in Karimnagar.
Vice Rector Prof. U. Umesh Kumar said the collaborations aim to provide internships and industry-focused training to students as well as equip faculty members with advanced research tools. He said the university is strengthening its academic and infrastructural base through such partnerships to make students industry-ready and competitive in national-level examinations.
Under the agreement with Skill Dezyre Technologies Private Limited, the university will facilitate industrial visits as well as internships, workshops and access to online UGC platforms such as SWAYAM, NPTEL and MOOCs.
A second MoU with Academy of Embedded and Technology Private Limited will focus on applied research and applied training in hardware systems and intelligent software solutions, with joint certification programs tailored to regional needs.
The university has partnered with Ramesh IES GATE Academy to provide training to engineering students for competitive exams such as IES, GATE and public sector enterprises. Students at Husnabad B.Tech campus will be given access to digital study materials, video lectures and mock tests through the mobile application.
The fourth agreement with NGO Ignite Swarna Bharathi will offer a 30-day online coaching program for Civil Service aspirants from rural and economically weaker backgrounds, covering subjects like Geography, History and Indian Government.
Registrar Prof. Satish Kumar said the MoU will help improve placement opportunities. The program was organized by Science College director Dr. S. Ramakanth, dean Dr. It was coordinated by Jaffer and other faculty members.
