Hayden Panettiere says she was ‘groomed’ into childhood stardom: ‘I was like a little soldier’

Hayden Panettiere said she was ‘trained’ to be a child star because she entered the entertainment industry at an early age.
The 36-year-old actress, who recently announced that she is bisexual, clarified the issue in her interview. Hollywood Reporter.
This comes as the star prepares for the release of her memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning, which is scheduled for release on May 19.
Panettiere talked about her acting career, which started when she was 11 months old, by appearing in a commercial in 1990, and the pressure she still feels.
‘I think that’s how I was raised. “I was well-groomed,” he said. ‘I was like a little soldier and always was. No it was never an option.
‘Just, here’s your scenes, here’s your dialogue, memorize it, hit the targets, do what your director tells you to do. ‘I’ve received my marching orders.’

Panettiere, who appeared in commercials as a baby, was cast as Sarah Roberts in the soap opera One Life To Live.
He portrayed the character from 1994 to 1997.
And from 1996, she started playing the role of Lizzie Spaulding in another soap opera called Guiding Light.
The actor became more known when he was in the main cast of the TV series Heroes between 2006 and 2010.
Two years later, Panettiere portrayed Juliette Barnes on the show Nashville.
In addition, the star also appeared on the big screen with films such as Bring It On: All Or Nothing (2006), I Love You, Beth Cooper (2009) and Scream VI (2023).
Panettiere opened up about realizing her upbringing as a child star was ‘abnormal’.

He added: ‘My life revolved around other people and I was living to make other people happy and I was last on the list.’
The star later said the pressure continued to build until she ‘exploded’ and ‘started to find any way out of the situation’.
‘Sometimes in treatment they say, believe it or not, our addictions probably saved us at a certain point.’
Panettiere admitted that she wondered if acting was something she would ‘naturally gravitate towards’.
The actor stated that his 11-year-old daughter Kaya is also “interested” in acting.
I will say, ‘Please go to university, please try something. And if you really love him, then I will support you with all my heart. And if he doesn’t like it, he can walk out. His world doesn’t have to revolve around this.’
Panettiere shares her daughter with her ex-fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko, and had previously given custody of Kaya, who struggled with addiction and postpartum depression, to her ex.

He added that it was difficult to find the ‘right time’ to explain and that it was ‘a difficult topic to express properly’.
‘I really wanted to sit down and make sure I chose my words carefully and could tell my story honestly, in a way that people could understand.’
