Bus hits pedestrian in CBD, man fighting for life
A man is fighting for his life after being hit by a bus in the Brisbane CBD.
The accident occurred at around 21.20 on Saturday, at the intersection of George Street and Kalkan Street, near the Court of Peace building.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police confirmed on Sunday morning that they were investigating the crash and speaking to the bus driver.
They asked anyone who saw the collision or had footage from the area to come forward.
The road had been cleared and by Sunday morning there was no evidence of the crash.
