TN CM Joseph Vijay Congratulates Suriya’s ‘Karuppu’ Team on BO Success

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay congratulated the team of Suriya and Trisha Krishnan starrer ‘Karuppu’ after the film’s strong performance at the box office. The producers shared that the Prime Minister conveyed his wishes to producer SR Prabu for the success of the film.

Earlier, actor-politician Kamal Haasan had also congratulated the team of the film. He talked about the problems the film faced before its release and praised the makers after the film finally reached the theatres. Taking on X, Kamal Haasan wrote, “Brother @Suriya_offl’s film Karuppu, which was facing problems right from the time of its release, has now been resolved smoothly and the film released today. Congratulations to brother Suriya, producers, director @RJ_Balaji and the entire film team. #Karuppu.” Meanwhile, Suriya’s appearance in the film is also gaining attention online. In the poster shared by the makers, the actor was seen in a maroon colored traditional outfit with detailed embroidery, beige bottoms and a dark beard look.

Written and directed by RJ Balaji, ‘Karuppu’ stars Suriya and Trisha Krishnan in lead roles. The film also stars Indrans, Natty, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi and Supreeth Reddy in important roles. The film’s music was composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
