Tharoor Briefly Trapped in Hotel Lift, Rescued by Fire Personnel
Thiruvananthapuram: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor was briefly stuck in the elevator of a private hotel here while coming here to attend the establishment ceremony of Trivandrum East Rotary Club.
Fire and Rescue Services personnel rushed to the scene immediately after the incident and safely rescued MP by opening the elevator door using a hydraulic spreader.
After the rescue, Tharoor congratulated the Fire and Rescue Services personnel for their quick response to the situation.
