Canadian father arrested for murder of 9-year-old daughter found dead near Lake George after reporting her missing

The chain of events began late on Saturday, July 19, looking for 911 from a relaxing area near I-87 at the New York holiday outside the popular city of Lake George, Frattolin. He reported that Melina had been kidnapped by two men of a white minibus and that the New York state police wanted a amber warning.
The warning saw Melina wearing 5 feet lengths, about 100 kilos, brown hair and eyes, a latest striped shirt and Adidas sneakers. Frattolin claimed that the minibus went south between the states. In response to the warning, more than one agency has launched an intensive search, including K9 units, aviation support and forest Rangers.
However, in a few hours, inconsistencies began to emerge in the story of Frattolin. The inspectors could not find any evidence to support the abduction reported. After analyzing surveillance images, timeline and physical evidence, the police rejected the theory of kidnapping. On Sunday morning, Amber Alert was canceled and the case changed rapidly.
In the afternoon of Sunday, the authorities found Melina’s body in the 74th route in Ticonderoga, about 15 miles east of George Lake and close to the New York-Vermont border. The remains were discovered in a shallow, swamp -like pond. It was announced that he died at the scene.
Frattolin was arrested early the next morning and reserved Essex District Prison on charges of murder and concealment of a human body. In the first court view of the Ticonderoga town court, an objection was made without guilty and remained without bail. New York State Police Captain Robert McConnell confirmed that Frattolin was the first report of the kidnapping process and that he was now a Sole suspect in the death of Melina. Frattolin said that his mother, who was alienated and had a regular contact with his daughter, was closely coordinated by the American colleagues.
Authorities did not publish the reason for the official death, according to a complete autopsy report from medical examination. Law enforcement officers stressed that the incident was isolated and did not pose a ongoing threat to the public.
“This is an extremely tragic and disturbing situation, Captain Captain McConnell said. “Our deepest sympathies are with Melina’s family and community. We are determined to ensure the service of justice.”
A planned press conference was held in New York Latham on Monday morning, where government officials now show that all investigation leaders are now moving Frattolin alone. No other suspicion is wanted.
