Massie loses to Trump-backed challenger in Kentucky primary

Massie, who has been in office since 2012, broke away from Trump last year by voting against “big, beautiful” tax and spending legislation over concerns about the national debt. He also voted to scale back Trump’s attacks on suspected drug ships in the Caribbean and his ongoing war in Iran.
