Hull City to take legal action if they lose Championship play-off final

Hull City owner Acun Ilıcalı has promised to take legal action if the Tigers fail to win the Championship play-off final against Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Boro lost to Southampton in the semi-final but were bounced back after Saints admitted spying on the Teessiders’ training session and were expelled from the competition.

Speaking to BBC Radio Humberside in front of Wembley Stadium before the final kick-off, Ilıcalı said, “Our legal team says we need to take action, that’s for sure.”

“Therefore, we have no doubt about it. All we want here is justice. If justice is violated, no one can enjoy football.”
